Objective To introduce fractal compression technology of medical imaging and its application in medical information technology. Methods To present fractal and fractal compression theory, and a comprehensive analysis of historical documents. Results The fractal compression technology of medical imaging has great application value. Conclusions The fractal compression technology of medical imaging can be used in medical information technology.
