Rapid Computation of Trigonometric Function on DSP

This paper analyses several kinds of computation method of Trigonometric function,including iterative algorithm,power serials algorithm,lookup-table algorithm and CORDIC algorithm,and gives out their error character,error volume,time efficiency and memory efficiency.Based on the pipelining,parallel and on-chip memory of DSP,the paper optimizes each algorithm to improve their parallelism.Combined all the virtue of every algorithm,the implementation runs faster than most of the commercial software library function by 3~5 times with adequate precision.
