Distributed correlated M-ary sources coding using LDPC codes

Distributed source coding is a new hot spot in the wireless sensor network area.This paper introduces the fundamental theory of distributed coding,then LDPC coding and multilevel coding methods applied in distributed coding are given.Finally,a distributed multilevel coding method is proposed to realize correlated M-ary sources coding and in the case of different correlation between two sources the performances of distributed correlated M-ary sources coding are compared.
