In C programming language , it's very flexible for the using of operator and expression relative to other programming language. It can deal with a number of problems skillfully. But on the other hand, there exist some difficulties. Specially. the auto-incremental and auto-decremental statement. However,there is a lack of analsis and explanation and different descriptions are given. in many teaching materials and reference books of C Programming Language. It brings difficulty for teaching and learning. In this paper, the function and the rules of auto-incremental and auto-decremental statement is explored.
