Image Watermarking Based on Block Quantization in DWT Domain

A new image watermarking algorithm based on block quantization in the DWT domain is proposed in this paper.The features of this algorithm are as follows: ⑴Block quantization strategy based on local image characteristics is adopted,⑵The quantization step can be dynamically adjusted according to the characteristics oh human visual system,⑶The general method of selecting detection threshold T is given by analyzing the probability of false watermark detection.Experimental results show that the proposed watermarking algorithm is invisible and robust against various signal processing such as cropping,compression,filtering,noise adding,and image enhancement.
