Subdomain-based adequate test suite building strategies for component-based software

Component-based software engineering has brought new challenges to the software testing.Studies on the test data adequacy of component-based software shows that in integrated testing,adequate testing of the software cannot guarantee the test data adequacy of its components,and adequate testing of the components cannot guarantee the test data adequacy of its components.The idea proposed in this paper,which converts the restriction of test data adequacy of the components in the integrated testing into subdomains,uses a uniform method to process the subdomains generated by criterions and subdomains generated by its components,provides a novel way to the test suite generation and optimization.
