The Connectedness of Locally Finite Topology

The connectedness of the non-empty closed subsets hyperspace with locally finite topology is discussed and a cardinal function called discrete degree is introduced.The results obtained in this paper have shown that locally finite topology and finite topology have more difference in the connectedness,of which one is that all the non-empty compact subsets is a clopen connected component of locally finite topology if the connected space X is hausdorff,locally compact and paracompact.
