Route design for multiple ferries and improvement in delay tolerant network

A new route design for multiple ferries named MRT-Star is proposed,which aimed at the shortcome of MRT-tree in delay tole-rant network that cache and energy of regular nodes be consumed too much additionally.The design used a special cache device to replace the regular node as a forwarding node and changed the way of distribution of regular nodes and the way of interactive of ferries.The mathematical calculations and mathematical analysis show that the data transmission delay of MRT-Star is lower than MRT-Tree while there is no consumption of cache and energy of regular nodes.
