The Rational Application of the Radiators' Total-stop-signal in Large Power Transformer Protection

With the development of power system,the capacity of a single power transformer becomes larger and larger,and hence the protection of transformer becomes more and more important.Recently total-stop-signals conventionally are being used for the protection of power transformer.Here analysis on the application of these signals in the protection of large power transformer is made.The relationship between these signals and other running parameters,e.g.the load and the ambient temperature,is drawn out for the design of transformer protection.
