A study on the practicability of correlation analyses of examination results

With theoretical probes to the distribution law of correlation coefficients between two n-length sequences,this paper concludes the normal distribution and with a variance of 1/n,aiming to indicate the examination rooms with overall scorekeeping mistakes which commonly occur in large-scale tests.Based on the correlation analyses of examination results,the coefficients can be used to point out almost all examination rooms with such mistakes by sampling the data of just less than 0.5 per cent rooms,which can raise the efficiency of error check dramatically.
