The Study on BOC Signal Tracking Technique

A binary offset carrier(BOC)modulation multiplies a spreading code with a square wave sub-carrier that has a frequency multiple of the code rate.Because of the multimodality of its autocorrelation function,it makes acquisition and tracking more challenging.In this paper,the tracing ambiguous problem of BOC(1,1) was explained,a tracking technique that fits its own characteristic was found,and also a algorithm of the discriminator which fits its new correlation function was given.This algorithm removes the side-peak threat.The correctness and validity of these algorithms have been proved by simulation and experiment.
