A mesh-first based centric application level multicast

Facing to the current problems in Internet group communication, we analyzed the characters of traditional multicast mechanism and application level multicast mechanism, designed a new efficient application level multicast approach, proposed mesh construction algorithm, mesh maintenance algorithm and multicast tree formation algorithm on mesh, and implemented it based on Java. The experiment results show the mesh structure can be set better by application level multicast, quickly improve the mesh performance and obtain higher efficiency than IP multicast.
