Identification of sedimentary microfacies of low-permeability siltstone reservoirs by expert system

The logical discriminance using expert experiential parameters is put forward to identify sedimentary micro-facies of low-permeability siltstone reservoirs.Based on core and a lot of well logging and mud logging information,micro-facies are recognized using many quantitative and qualitative parameters.The advantages of this method are as follows: demerits of solely using mathematic data are remedied;the matching of well logging information with core and mud logging information enriches logging interpretation ability;fractal theory enhances veracity of identifying micro-facies.The discriminance works efficiently in Dabei low-permeability oilfield.In short,this technique is feasible to identify micro-facies of low-permeability siltstone reservoirs.
