New Algorithm for Video Watermarking in MPEG-2 Compressed Domain

Digital watermarking technology of video image is a hot topic in present watermarking researching area.In this paper,a new watermarking algorithm for video images is proposed.By operating the compressed video data-stream directly,we embed watermarking information into motion vectors according to the motion-vector feature,therefore,complete decoding and re-encoding are unnecessary.The proposed algorithm is simple and efficient.Moreover,watermark can be extracted blindly without original images.Compared with that of image reconstructed from un-watermarked video sequences,PSNRs of watermarked frames are reduced slightly.
