Space-time Cooperation Diversity Wireless Communication: an Overview

Cooperative communication adopts the antenna of other users in a communication network as relay to achieve transmit diversity of virtual antenna,thus improving system performance. It has found wide application in both civil and military communications. This paper overviews the developments in this burgeoning filed, such as main method of cooperation, performance comparison, key technology and the latest researches.
