Application of GPS static positioning in dam deforming monitoring

The GPS satellites signal for several years is obtained at various detecting points of Tanzhuang reservoir dam with high-precision Topcon Hiper double frequency GPS receivers.The computing precision can be up to mm level even to sub-mm for horizontal and vertical displacement.So,the GPS static positioning can be used in the presentiment of larger dam deforming and provides the scientific gist of the dam's stability,security and flood-prevention via improving the surveying precision and optimizing the data computing method.
