The Establishment of Hui Bao and Its Attempt at Shareholding System

The paper finds that Rong Hong was the initiator in name and the key persons were Tang Tingshu and Ye Tingjuan in the establishing process of Hui Bao．The comprador feature of the initiator made Hui Bao become the first Chinese newspaper under the experimental shareholding system．
