Analysis of pipe burst is indispensable to urban pipeline network Geographic Information System (GIS).At first, the network model and network flow of ArcGIS is analyzed, and traditional Breadth First Search (BFS) algorithm is optimized.On the basis of that, both upriver closed valves searching and influencing area of pipe burst analyzing are accomplished.Finally, with COM technology, the function of analysis of pipe burst is encapsulated and reused module is realized.
