Distance and direction based routing scheme in wireless sensor networks

A new distance and direction based routing(DDR) scheme,which combines distance based and direction based geographical strategy as the standard for selecting the next hopi,s proposed.The results of simulation experiments show that DDR achieves an efficient trade-off between energy consumption and delivery latency.The overall performance of DDR in terms of energy consumption and delivery latency is better than those of both only distance based and direction based scheme.
