Design of a Soil Moisture Measurement Instrument Based on MSP430F149

The rapid and accurate soil moisture test is a key technique to be solved in precision agriculture. It is necessary to develop a rapid soil moisture measurement instrument in order to realize soil moisture real-time measurement. On the basis of researching measure moisture relaying on spectral bands, this paper presents a kind of design method based on MSP430F149 single chip microcomputer, and describes the design of hardware, software and anti-interference of a soil moisture measurement instrument. This kind of sensor and the system composition of moisture content detector. Its characteristics of small volume, low-power consumption and good real-time make it convenient for field measurement.
