The Mobile Radiation Monitoring Platform and Terminal Design

In order to effectively monitor and manage removable radioactive sources in real time,the paper presents the design of a portable radiation monitoring platform and its terminal.For achieving the functions of real-time location,data communication,path query,emergency alarm and monitor of the removable radioactive sources,the system includes radiation monitoring technology,GPS/ GPRS data transmission,Ethernet technology,database storage and network communication.It provides good result with quickly and accurately radioactive sources locating and stable and reliable data transmission,can be used to supervise the radioactive sources and protect the public and environmental safety.
