Design and Implementation of Monitoring System for Shipborne SATCOM Station

In this paper,the limitation of existing monitoring methods for shipborne SATCOM station is analyzed,a design is proposed,including hardware and software design,and the key technologies involved are described.In the system,the technologies,such as serial communication,database and multithreading are used to achieve real-time monitoring of equipment and parameter storing.The system,developed under Windows Visual C++ 6.0,can do such visual display as curves of real-time data and store the data collected on site in the Access 2000 database,which can provide a basis for fault diagnosis.
