Investigation into vision detection system for 2D geometric features of mechanical parts

By investigating the computer vision detection techniques for geometric features of 2D mechanical parts,a hardware-enabled vision detection system is established.Accordingly,the improved Canny operator,Hough transform and midpoint circle-producing algorithm are adapted in this system.Based on MATLABTM development platform,the software-enabled vision detection system is formed.In so doing,the system feasibility and effectiveness are verified via experiments.
