Beccaria,the founder of criminal classic school,put forward principle of a legally prescribed punishment for a specified crime,principle of suiting punishment to crime and principle of humanistic about penalty,which form the basical principles of modern criminal law.His theories,such as subjective theory of crime,theory of dual-preventive penal object,and the principles of penal punctuality,openness,definiteness aiming at the efficiency of penalty,especially his theory of suspension of death penalty,have an important,far-reaching influence on the development of the criminal theories in later ages.
