Design of a Very Low Dropout Voltage Linear Regulator

A very low dropout voltage regulator was presented,which had a maximum output current of 300 mA.In this regulator,the circuit of error amplifier was improved,feedback resistor network was optimized,and proper size of the pass element was chosen to reduce dropout voltage.The circuit was simulated based on BCD350 process.Simulation results showed that the voltage regulator achieved a dropout voltage of only 27 mV for an output current of 100 mA.
