Research on filter and Traceback against DDoS Attack

Investigate several filter and Traceback techniques against distributed denial of service attacks(DDoS).The advantages and disadvantages are analyzed by these techniques,and their feasibility is discussed.It is showed that some measures of filter can enhance resistance and endurance of system against DDoS within local area network,but must gain ISP's support to prevent DDoS by the Internet,and control DDoS within attack source region.
