Preliminary Study of Information Security Bases on The Windows Log

This paper describes the importance of log in the security and analyzes the log types of windows 2003 and influence of typical attacks on log.Combining the research production of microsoft and purdue, it discusses the protection of information and log analysis .This thesis also puts forward one method of log analysis which is based on the event flow.To a certain extent,this method offsets the semantic pattern matching method's disadvantages .
