Quantum cryptography with provable security

Baoyu Zheng · Journal of China Institute of Communications · 2003

Two kinds of quantum key distribution protocols which based on different property of quantum mechanics are discussed in this paper. The security of both categories are proved, especially the security of quantum key distribution in the condition of existing a probabilistic cloning machine. It was shown that the quantum bit error rate which Alice and Bob estimated after sifted key reduced to 21% in probabilistic cloning scheme.
