An Efficient Collaborative Filtering Algorithm with User Hierarchy

As a basic information filtering approach,collaborative filtering (CF) is widely used in personalized information service systems. However,our research reveals that the similar user groups in the CF is independent with that of semantic classification of the users, which is a contrary to our intuition,so we take user's classification into count in our improved algorithm. The experiment result shows that our algorithm is efficient since it has higher accuracy compared with traditional collaborative filtering.
