Spectrum efficiency of coordinating distributed antenna cellular systems
Jinkang Zhu · 2009
To mitigate the interference in distributed antenna cellular downlink systems, the base station coordination is combined with distributed antenna technology. The minimum spectrum efficiency among users is maximized to keep the fairness. In order to combat the deficiency in traditional base station coordination systems adopting zero-forcing beamforming,in which the user's spectrum efficiency drops rapidly when the user number reaches the maximum,a user antenna off-selection method is further proposed. It is shown in the simulation that the user antenna selection cellular coordinating system equipped with distributed antennas can achieve higher equal spectrum efficiency.
