The application of SD memory card to an ocean data storage

A new scheme of SD memory card applied to the ocean elements storage system is designed.In this design,the SOC C8051F340 is used as a host controller and communicates with SD memory card on SPI Bus.The structure and principle of the SD memory card and SPI Interface with the C8051F340 are introduced,and the hardware and software designs are discussed in this paper.The problems of large data sto-rage and interface with PC computer are solved by the system.
