Fault-Tolerant of Linux-Based Operating System on Reading Optical Disk

Fault-tolerant is very important for reading optical disk. This paper analyzes how block device drivers work on Linux operating system,and based on this point,fulfills a method of fault-tolerant on reading optical disk on driver layer,by way of skipping sectors. This method increases re-use rate of optical disk on Linux operating system.
