Properties of Positive Definite Solutions of Matrix Equations X+A~*X~(-n)A=Q

In this paper,some properties of a positive solution of the nonlinear matrix equation X+A*X-nA=Q are discussed.Two methods for iterative computing a positive solution is investigated.Sufficient conditions for the existence of positive definite solutions for these equations are derived.
