The Study of Motion-vector Estimation Approach Based on Projection

This paper presents a quick motion-vector estimation algorithm based on projection.The algorithm can reduce the number of 2D matching blocks tremendously.By controlling the percentage of candidates excluded by 1D matching,the execution speed of the algorithm is also controlled.The results presented here demonstrate the validity of this algorithm which possesses strong retractility and slow complexity.
