With the rapid development of corpus linguistics,the construction and research of ESP corpus is gradually becoming a research hotspot of corpus linguistics. As an important part of ESP teaching and research,construction and researching of Agricultural English Corpus is still blank in the domestic,and no study about Animal Science Research Articles. Based on the background and significance of the construction of Animal Science Research Articles Corpus,the ideas,principles and basic steps of the construction of the Animal Science Research Articles Corpus were discussed,in order to point out it is feasible. Then,the application of construction and development of Animal Science Research Articles Corpus was elaborated from view of researching,teaching,translation,in order to point out it is necessary.
