Distribution GIS is the system to combine electric power facilities,distribution equipment and power customer receiving equipment together by using modern geographic information database technology.Visualized sate production management system is formed in the combination of core business,such as safe production management of power distribution.Combined with writer's experiences,this paper studies the necessity,realized function and points for attention of GIS-based safe production management system.
