Evaluation Model of Grid Services Based on Historical Records

Yazhe Tang, Kai Zhang, Ning Cao, Shen Lin · Journal of Chinese Computer Systems · 2009

In the environment of service oriented grid computing, service providers publish services' functional types and performance specifications in UDDI. Users need a kind of credible criteria to select the grid service. In the past process, users make choices according to the performance specifications of service. It can not ensure that the service can be performed faithfully in case of the providers' cheating action. This paper, based on the credibility and policy set, proposes an evaluation model in which performance specifications can be updated in real time. The experimental results indicate that the model provides better criteria for the service selection.
