Preparation and Photocatalytic Activity of ZnO for Water-Soluble Reactive Dye

In this article,ZnO nanoparticles prepared by direct precipitation method and the ZnO nanoparticles' hot stability and structure are analysed by XRD,TG-DAT etc.XRD shows that ZnO has hexagonal structure.TG-DAT is also used to characterize the ZnO nanoparticles.The effects of the conditions of the baking temperature,the dosage of catalyst and the illumination etc.on photocatalytic activity of ZnO are further discussed.The results of photocatalytic degradation are analysed by IR.The results shows that ZnO has very high photocatalytic activity to the reactive emerald blue K-GL and reactive dye B-RN.The conditions are that the photocatalyst has seasonable dosage and is roasted on 530℃,UV light is used in photocatalytic degradation.
