Correction and application of on-line prediction model for fouling thermal resistance

The principle error of prediction model for fouling thermal resistance by the thermal resistance method is high when the operation parameters are in a wide range,and the model is difficult to be directly used in on-line measurement,so a new method of correction model was introduced.The experimental results show that the principle error of the correction model is lower than 3.5%.The error formula was deduced,and the measurement of following error was presented according to the characteristics of thermal resistance measurement error related to the amount of fouling to increase the measurement reliability in the phase of high fouling thermal resistance.The accuracy of measurement results depends on the measurement error of the new measurement.The new measurement was used in on-line monitoring fouling of kerosene cooler,and the results indicate that the measurement is reliable.
