Design and Implementation of Shooting Range WebGIS on ArcIMS

This paper analyzed the significance and instancy of the shooting range WebGIS development,and also showed clearly the advantage of WebGIS development based on ArcIMS.It also discussed the architecture of ArcIMS and put forward the server's deployment scenario of rich clientthen according to the system's characteristics and runtime environment.Then author designed and implemented the shooting range WebGIS,and explained its functioning mechanism and two key technologies of developing.At last the paper analyzed and evaluated the application system.
