A PC Cluster Computing System for Molecular Dynamics Application

Cluster computation technology has always been the focus of the studies in the field of computer science.Cluster system is a computation system that could not only utilize the existing resources of computation,but also realize the high performance using cheaper software and hardware.With the rapid development of microprocessor and network,cluster computation is gradually becoming a computation resource having the ability of parallel/distribution computation with the low cost and high efficiency.However,some PC clusters has almost not been suitable for molecular dynamics simulations.This kind of PC cluster consists of a group PCs connected by a network.A PC cluster computing environment based on migrating parallel tasks,load balancing and tolerant is presented in this paper.
