Design and Realization of Journal Management System in the Editorial Department

Present situation of journal management in the editorial department in China was recounted. The necessity establishing journal management system in editorial department was analyzed. Furthermore, the journal management system based on Visual FoxPro6.0 was developed. It consists of six modules, which can realize functions such as thesis' register, inquiry, maintenance, statistic, backup, print and so on, and help implement comprehensive computerization management for journal editorial. The system improves the management efficiency and level of the editorial department.
