In order to realize dynamic date migration between heterogeneous databases, an approach to dynamic data migration is presented with SQL syntax and dynamic data store object running on Power Builder environment. Furthermore, the characteristics of heterogeneous databases and data store object are introduced. The concrete steps of dynamic data migration and main codes of program are also provided. The approach runs well and the control is flexible in practical application.
