Design and implementation of conservation system based on HALCON and image stitching

A conservation system designed based machine vision software MVTec HALCON and image stitching technology.In the system image is pretreated such as denoising,segmentation,and then use the Harris algorithm for corner detection feature extraction point,then detected corner points are normalized cross-correlation matching RANCAC algorithm to eliminate the mismatching points preliminary stitching,and finally with the weighted fusion method improved image fusion and image inpainting techniques to repair.Preparation for the algorithm used in the software and splicing experiment results show that the method can quickly and efficiently seamless,high accuracy,and can be widely applied to the restoration work of ancient calligraphy and other cultural artifacts.
