A Robust Algorithm for Printed Number Recognition

An algorithm for optical number recognition in complex space of a whole page is presented.The algorithm makes full use of structure features such as stroke inflexion points to construct two encoders to recognize optical numbers.The algorithm has the advantages of the transformation invariance,revolving invariance,andwithout previous rectification.The experiment results show that the algorithm is effective.
