Design of A Short-Wave Radio's IF Digitization System

For the short-wave radio's RF digitalization sets higher requirement for the device,higher power consumption,so the IF digital technology is recommended.This paper gives out the IF design of a certain short-wave radio's IF digitalization,introduces the elementary theory and a realized method of the IF digital receiver.And it introduces the structure,functions and features of the HSP50415,AD6620 and TMS320VC5416 in this design,alse gives out the charts of their hardware module interface in the digital frequency conversion.Test results show that improving the receiving-sending performances of the short-wave radio by using the digital frequency converter in the HF.The cost and power are low,the compatibility and expansibility are good of this system.
