Development of groundwater resource information system based on the COM Geographic Information System(GIS)

In this paper,the design,function and characteristics of the groundwater resource information system based on the COMGIS is analyzed.The system is independent of any commercial GIS platform and integrates seamlessly the GIS function and professional knowledge.The system provides rationally evaluation of groundwater resources and decision-making using the GIS spatial analysis function.The system is efficient in practical tests.
