Performance Analysis and Simulation of Space Time Codes for MIMO-OFDM Systems

OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) and MIMO(Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output) are two key techniques that can be used to solve the bandwidth efficiency and multipath fading channel problems in future broadband wireless communication system.MIMO system scheme and space-time coding is analyzed.With an established MIMO-OFDM system model based on space time coding,its performance is simulated and analyzed.Simulations shows that combining space-time coding with MIMO-OFDM system,which make full use of space diversity,frequency diversity and time diversity can be effectively applied to improve system performance.
