The Significance of Digital Technology in the Film's Narration——Taking Forrest Gump as an Example

With the extensive intensification of digital skills and visual shock, many images have become vivid pictures. However, when they pursue the visual effects, a large amount of movies have lost the meanings and reasonable thoughts which belong to the qualities of a good film. After studying Forrest Gump, how the digital technology takes part in the film's narration is analyzed. Meanwhile, the paper did a research on the relationship between digital technology and film art as well. The final conclusion is that the digital technology should serve the film art as well as the characters and plots. What is more, the digital technology must be connected with the inner features of film art to display its specialties.
