Design and Implementation of Data Producing Sub-System in UGIS

The Data Producing Subsystem is the core of the UGIS.It aims at providing efficiency and standard data for other subsystems.By analyzing the current GIS data producing procedure,we put forward a new method of data producing,using the ArcSDE and FME.The most important part of the system is to process the DLG files and seamlessly converting the data in the files to GIS vector data without loss of information.In addition,the design and implementation of data producing subsystem in the UGIS are given.The method has proved most useful by the experiments.
